The whole family enjoy riding Specialized bikes. Sonya,Tahj and Gidjet all ride the 29er Epic but the bike they fight over the most is the Levo. At some stage during the year I need to buy another bike for Sonya,Tahj and Gidjet to share. I have my eye on the Camber to balance out the stable for the family, the Epic is great for speed and racing when the crew are in race mode. The Levo is everyones favourite with it’s big travel fat tyres and the battery assist lets the whole family ride longer and faster then usual. I also benefit from the Levo as I have to push hard up hills to keep up with the Levos speed.
For me I love my Epic hardtail. This is my go to bike I ride it everywhere and use it on long gravel grinds and single track. This bike is great value and out of all my bikes it has done the most kilometres, over 10,000 km in 14 months.
My 2017 Epic is a great bike for racing on but I find it hard to say no to the hardtail,so the Blue Epic only comes out on special occasions. I also enjoyed having two dual suspension bikes when in a 24 hour race.
The 29er Camber is a full beer and gear bike. Let the fun times roll, with the dropper post and 120 mm travel this bike is the one I turn to when I want to get some air and go a bit harder over the rough stuff.
But the 2018 Epic is my favourite. I find it can do anything the camber can do and more. However this race machine only comes out on race day.
